What is the Alliance?

The RPCA was incorporated as a not for profit organisation in July 2018 and is wholly owned by 13 South Reading GP practices.

RPCA has formed to respond to the challenges of today’s healthcare. The population is living longer with complex health issues which is placing a strain on National health service. RPCA exists to help meet these challenges by working collaboratively at scale to ensure sustainable primary care can be delivered to the residents of South Reading.

The RPCA members (GP Practices) remain independent organisations but collaborate and work together to develop South Reading GP Practice services.

Whilst we are a new organisation, the member practices have a long-standing history in the delivery of high quality, accessible and responsive primary care in South Reading and collectively serve a population of c110,000 patients.
